I'm a first-time freelance writer.  By most people's standards, I started my writing career late in life.  I believe there is a reason and season for everything, and this is the right time for me.  It's never too late.

Although my educational background is in art, I've always been interested in writing.  I started journaling when I was twelve.  I took writing courses throughout the years, and I did independent study on the craft of writing.  Nevertheless, I didn't become a writer until recently.

My specialty is children's literature, but I also write for adults.  I write science articles and stories for young readers and children.  And I write articles and essays for adults.

The topics I will be blogging about are the arts and homelessness.  On occasion, there will be a third miscellaneous topic.
